Laura Pou project. This garden is in La Zagaleta, one of the most exclusive urbanisations in Europe. The majority of plots, which have the best views, presented a significant problem when executing the garden design. The substrate was practically non-existent and the ground was all but bedrock. Thus it was necessary to come up with a receptacle for the soil for planting. The British owners wanted fruit trees, orange, lemon and olive trees, and a very rustic garden. Therefore, some enormous plant-pots were created using old railway sleepers. The garden went through some tough times acclimatising due to the substrate and the strong winds.
