Designing the garden of a nursing home, for me "elderly"... Precious word, I never quite understood why this reviled term is not just any thing.
Ignorant of me, I thought it would be just another garden, beautiful, but one more... And it was not like that.
Raúl Contreras, Director of infrastructure, construction, maintenance and I don't know very well what else, made me see the number of aspects, unthinkable for me, about the function of this garden, and that many other people probably overlook.
The elderly, the elderly, must be provided with the necessary vital care, but even more, and let it be understood, those that are not verified in graphs and organic levels. The food of the soul, enriching your day to day with the aroma of the flowers of each season, watching the flight of a butterfly, seeing how a flower bursts into its splendor or listening to the different beats of the sound of the plants. All of the latter has been my contribution to the project.
I hope I've done as well as they are able to feel it.
Thank you Raúl.
Thank you for the memories.
